Mark R. Badgett has 11 years of midstream and upstream consulting experience. Since 2005, he has worked at Capitalize Consulting helping clients streamline processes and implement cost-saving improvements. Most recently, Badgett helped one client eliminate the manual processes that opened the organization to Sarbanes Oxley exposure. Additionally, he improved the user reporting, reviewed contracts for compliance and combined multiple gas plant accounting software platforms into one. He has also designed, developed and implemented authorization for expenditure (AFE), joint interest billing (JIB), gas plant accounting, tax, regulatory reporting, division order maintenance, disbursements and upstream revenue accounting software.

Badgett previously worked as a manager at Quorum Business Solutions and as a project engineer at Boeing Aerospace Operations. He earned his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and his MBA from Oklahoma State University.

Todd Benton has 30 years professional management consulting experience with an emphasis in the oil and gas industry, assisting clients with their technical, program and project management engagement requirements. Benton joined Capitalize Consulting in 2005 and has recently provided industry expertise to clients such as DCP, TARGA and Enbridge. While at DCP, he supported the TIPS/ESUITE upgrade. At TARGA, he implemented global pricing and automated TIPS journal and invoice interfaces to PeopleSoft. While at Enbridge, Benton designed and managed the development of a gas measurement interface from FlowCal to Enbridge's accounting systems. During a second engagement with Enbridge, he managed the QPTM application upgrade under significant time constraints to meet FERC compliance requirements.

As an oil and gas systems expert, Benton offers deep industry knowledge with various industry applications, systems integration capabilities and excellent program and project management skills. He previously held a position as an information architect at Alliance Data Systems in Dallas, Texas. In the early '90s, Benton worked for PriceWaterhouseCoopers to support PREMAS and then Accenture, LLP (formerly Andersen Consulting) as part of the original development team for TIPS.

Benton holds a bachelor's degree in management information systems from Texas Tech University.

Steve McFarland has 34 years in the oil and gas industry. He joined Capitalize Consulting in 2010 to help clients implement industry software aimed at improving processes and reducing costs. He offers strong experience as an IT leader, having worked with budgets, software selection, mergers and acquisitions and project management.

Previously, McFarland worked as an independent consultant providing small to mid-sized companies with project and IT expertise. For eight years prior, McFarland worked as the IT Director at DCP Midstream. He also previously worked for 24 years with Phillips Petroleum in the upstream, midstream, downstream and corporate areas.

McFarland earned his bachelor's degree and master's degree in statistics from Kansas State University.
